Emily Wanjiru came into the world on October 26th. I was able to hold my first grandchild the next day. What a great feeling!
Emily will be surrounded by love and family in two countries, the US and Kenya. We are all happy she is here! Brian and Mary are going to be great parents. They have all the right questions and concerns and more than enough love to see them through the coming months.
I can not wait to introduce Emily to Mother Goose, Winnie the Pooh, Olivia, Eloise, and Curious George. Family favorites are being dusted off—The Little Enginge That Could, Polar Express, The Story of Ferdinand, The Very Hungry Caterpillar—so many worlds to explore. Grandma and Uncle Jason will be ready when the time comes!
