Favorites for young readers…

Fancy Nancy Fancy Nancy always makes a splash!  She loves to be Fancy, uses wonderful vocabulary and tries to make her family appreciate the finer things in life.  There are two new titles this season.

FANCY NANCY AND THE POSH PUPPY   Describes what happens when her family decides to get a dog, she’s certain she can be fancier than ever. After all, a papillon—a small, delicate, fluffy dog—is the ultimate accessory. But her family wants a large, plain dog. How unglamorous!

FANCY NANCY: SPLENDIFEROUS CHRISTMAS   Presents with elegant wrapping paper, festive decorations, Christmas cookies with sprinkles—and who could forget the tree? After all, there is no such thing as too much tinsel. Ooh la la!

 SkippyJon

SKIPPYJON JONES, LOST IN SPICE

Buckle up, amigos– everyone’s favorite kitty boy is about to lift off. You’ll want to be there when the brave Skippito gets lost in spice!  That’s right, spice. Skippy knows– from his big ears to his toes–that the planet Mars is red because it’s covered in spicy red pepper.

Another F&F bookseller favorite this season is CIRCUS SHIP  by Chris Van Dusen

When a circus ship runs aground off the coast of Maine, the poor animals are left on their own to swim the chilly waters. Staggering onto a nearby island, they soon win over the wary townspeople with their kind, courageous ways. So well do the critters blend in that when the greedy circus owner returns to claim them, villagers of all species conspire to outsmart the bloated blowhard.
